At the 2011 Autumn meeting of the AFN the agreement between the partner organisations was officially signed setting out the aims, objectives and protocols for the network. AFN Meeting 2014
The annual meeting of the Atlantic Flyway Network will take place in Bayonne (fr) on 31 January and 1 February 2014. A full programme of events has been prepared around the theme of "Species Protection and Wetland Management".
AFN Meeting - RAMSAR 2013
The next AFN meeting will be held on 2-3 February at the Briere NP, Loire Atlantique (44). The same weekend also sees World Wetlands Day to celebrate the RAMSAR agreement and a programme of activities open to the public has been organised.
Autumn Meeting of AFN
The AFN held their autumn meeting at the Urdaibai Bird Centre in northern Spain where the partnership agreement was signed by representatives of each of the main organisations involved. Forthcoming projects for 2012 were also discussed along with funding possibilities for long-term projects.
